CON AIR: 8

An overall good movie with a lot of action and interesting (albeit a little far fetched) story line. Once you get past the background prelude, the movie picks up, and if you love action packed movies with an indestructible hero, you'll love this one. I would have actually rated it a little higher, except I felt that they really dragged out the ending way too much, with way too much unbelievable action and destruction for my taste. If you're into that kind of stuff, this may be a 9/10 movie for you.

When a group of the most dangerous and notorious prisoners in the U.S. penal system are transferred to a new super-maximum security facility, one recently paroled ex-con (Nicolas Cage) hitches a ride on their Con Air transport flight. Once on board, he finds himself embroiled in a mid-air hijacking. Now he must join forces with U.S. Marshall Vince Larkin (John Cusack) to stop the band of hardened lifers from massacring everyone on board as the damaged plane careens toward disaster on the famed Las Vegas strip.
