A good sci-fi movie with a more serious tone than the spoofy MIB. And while I prefer the more serious alien encounter movies, and this one was good overall, it dragged in more than a few spots. This was mainly due to good character development, which for some, might be a fair trade-off. Personally, I was looking for a different (more alien) ending, but you can't be all things to all people I suppose. Don't expect any cool special effects.
