I had never seen this movie at all, so I'm reviewing this as a
1st time viewer. I saw Star Wars only last week, for the 1st
time, as part of the trilogy replay.
Good overall movie, very much like Star Wars with its simple plot
and routine story line wrapped in some good special effects
(especially for the time). But, like most sequels, it lagged a
little behind Star Wars; especially since the heroes really
didn't seem to accomplish anything except escapes - there was no
real episode victory. It did have more laughs in it though, which
was a plus for me. Main characters were further developed. If you
have never seen it on the big screen, you should.
Concurring Opinion: My 15 year old niece gave it a 7 also.
