LIAR LIAR: 6.5

An overall funny story line that attracted an audience of all ages, but much was inappropriate for youngsters: parents should heed the PG-13 rating; in fact, a PG-15 rating should have been created for this movie. Perhaps shooting for some redeeming value, the script attempted to blend a life lesson or two along with some serious emotions, but it was awkward at best due to the slapstick nature of the comedy. No shortage of one liners and if you're a fan of Jim Carrey's facial talents you'll enjoy those overdone parts more than I did. Possibly my favorite part of the movie was the 5 minutes of bloopers shown at the end.

Concurring opinion by my 15 year old niece.
